Job description


The Manager of FP&A provides financial planning, reporting, and analysis for Jackson Companies. This role serves as a financial business partner to operational leaders, providing insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making, profitability, and business growth. The position is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI analysis, and financial modeling.

Please note: This is an on-site position based in Meridian, Idaho and is not eligible for remote work. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Partner with department leaders to analyze, model, and evaluate business decisions and opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations based on financial and operational data.
  • Develop and maintain financial, operational, and KPI reporting.
  • Analyze trends, identify opportunities and risks, and communicate key findings to leadership.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support decision-making
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, and business leaders to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist with operational, capital, and cash flow planning.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required. MBA or equivalent degree in an analytical field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical role.
  • Retail, fuel, convenience store, transportation, or multi-location business experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools required.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate recommendations.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with several priorities while being flexible to shift priority
  • Demonstrated success in linking corporate strategy to the development of leadership strategies and programs
  • Able to contribute and direct innovation and troubleshooting for other related departments for cross coordination of large projects and complex business impacting service issues.
