We are currently accepting applications for a Banking Operations Support Specialist to work in-office at our campus located in Midvale, UT at 7860 South Bingham Junction Boulevard, Midvale, UT 84047.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily assistance via phone, email or chat, including diversified operational support to all bank employees throughout the enterprise.
  • Perform customer and account maintenance as applicable.
  • Provide approvals on various items when needed based on authority levels/policies.
  • Provide operations guidance, coaching and advice to branches including assistance with policies and procedures, computer applications and general operations issues.
  • Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory guidelines.
  • Approve transactions and exceptions to established policies and procedures.
  • Act as liaison between branches and other areas of the bank.
  • Ensure established service level agreement requirements are met.
  • Develop, write and communicate internal policies, procedures, forms and tools.
  • Research, compile, analyze and report operational data, including business unit production and productivity statistics.
  • Ensure new risks and risk occurrences are reported.

Qualifications: 

  • Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of branch banking, bank operations, processes, procedure and regulations or other directly related experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Working knowledge of banking functions, operations, systems, products, services, processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work with branch staff and other internal departments.
  • Must have good customer service, research and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good problem resolution and follow-up skills.
  • Must be accurate.
  • Working knowledge of computer software including spreadsheets, word processing, etc.
