Working as Highland Cabinetry Manager of Warehouse is a fast paced and challenging position that oversees multiple lines within our warehouse production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accomplishes warehouse operations by recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching employees.
  • Directly oversee all warehouse Managers.
  • Build detailed reporting workflows for each department consisting of daily KPI's, progress metrics throughout the day, production increase opportunities, and conduct daily, weekly and monthly reporting and appropriate coaching to various teams.
  • Meets warehouse operations by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
  • Develops production design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.
  • Develops production operations systems by analyzing process workflow and implementing changes.
  • Achieves production operations by contributing recommendations and following policies.
  • Identify and onboard new vendors to support warehouse operations.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of assigned managers, including Assembly Line, Quality Control, Assembly Staging, Stocking, & CPU.
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
  • Meet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention.
  • Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years experience in a warehouse operations
  • 5+ years experience in warehouse leadership
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably NetSuite and other relevant software.
  • Required Experience in Production/Process Engineering
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Systems experience
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff
  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
