Job description

Essnova Solutions, Inc., an Inc. 500 federal contractor and SBA 8(a)/HUBZone-certified small business, is seeking a highly seasoned On- Demand Contracts Manager to support our rapidly growing federal contracting operations as we pursue large GWACs and complex federal opportunities. This is an as-needed consulting role ideal for experienced professionals who can provide expert-level guidance when critical contracting needs arise. With access to powerful contract vehicles including GSA OASIS+, Seaport NxG, FAA eFAST, GSA MAS, and 8(a) STARS III, and deep capabilities in IT, Cybersecurity, Healthcare, Geospatial, and Environmental services, we are actively pursuing large GWAC opportunities and need immediate access to senior contracting expertise. As our engagement increases, this role may expand based on business needs and performance.

We are recruiting for a Network Architect for an upcoming client. The Network Architect shall provide all DoD OIG enclave, data center and cloud network architectures, engineering, and operations required to maintain secure and reliable enterprise network(s). The Network Architect shall work with the Enterprise Architect and network engineers to develop a highly comprehensive and robust network design, engineering, implementation, security, and operational plan.

Job Function

  • Provide assessments and analyze the data center and cloud network environment architectures, make recommendations, and implement changes.
  • Design, stage, configure, implement, secure, and support all network related equipment and technologies including routing and switching, virtual private networks (VPN), and 802.1x network access control solutions.
  • Provide expertise with Azure and AWS cloud network technologies and equivalents such as Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Virtual Network, NAT Gateways, VPN Gateways, Route53, DNS, Traffic Manager, Network Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Custom Route Tables, User Defined Routes, AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute.
  • Design and implement network architectures, equipment, and software in accordance with DISA security STIGs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation which will include SOPs and System Architecture Guides and Diagrams adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any network related problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, engineer permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation.
  • Support operations and maintenance of network systems and ensure minimal network service interruptions.

Requirements

  • Must have Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have at least 9 years’ experience working with network infrastructure and cloud network technologies (i.e., Routing, Switching, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), Virtual Network, NAT Gateways, VPN Gateways, Route53, DNS, Traffic Manager, Network Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Custom Route Tables, User Defined Routes, AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute).
  • Must have Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
  • Must have Routing and Switching certification.

Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.
