Job description

The Merchandiser Manager leads a team of merchandisers to uphold presentation standards and support sales objectives across multiple retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and lead merchandisers to maintain presentation standards.

  • Schedule and coordinate merchandising activities, including store sets, demos, and sampling.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key deli contacts at the multi‑unit level.

  • Mentor sales merchandisers to promote products and develop deli associates into brand advocates.

  • Evaluate and provide feedback to merchandisers to sustain performance and meet profit objectives.

  • Communicate field observations and recommend improvements to sales and management.

  • Oversee onboarding procedures and ensure employees receive necessary training and equipment.

  • Support sales and profit objectives by aligning merchandising efforts with company goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • 2‑5 years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in the food/beverage merchandising industry.

  • Ability to travel as required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Ability to read and write English.

  • Clear driving record for at least two years.

  • Real ID or passport for travel.

  • Physical ability to walk, stand, lift up to 20 pounds continuously, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and push or pull carts up to 100 pounds.

  • Ability to work weekends as needed.

  • Commitment to ethical and professional standards.
