UPC has been designing and manufacturing retail store fixtures and point-of-purchase displays in Madison, Wisconsin, for almost 50 years, since 1978. Started as a family business, we have grown and have established ourselves worldwide. We are employee centric and are looking for strong candidates and long-term commitments. Our employee's tenure says it all!

Position Summary

  • Plan, organize, manage, and schedule daily production
  • Ensure timely and schedule completion of products
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed
  • Collaborates with Design and Engineering department to ensure final product execution meets all specification including materials, processes, time studies, and QC
  • Collaborates with all other internal departments including customer service, purchasing, warehousing, and shipping and receiving
  • Ensure quality standards are met and maintained
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
  • Optimize production efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and quality control
  • Analyze production data and prepare reports for senior management
  • Manage and lead production staff, including hiring, training, and disciplinary action.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly production meetings
  • Responsible for safety, OSHA, labor, compliance and other regulatory requirements
  • Implements "Best Practices" for manufacturing
  • Continuous improvement of employee morale, engagement, and recognition
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Responsible for performance reviews.
  • Practices continuous improvement on SOP, QC, and costing benefits
  • Communicate and meet with customers, vendors, contractors and other partners

  • Proficiency in production management software and tools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
