The Sikorsky Advanced Programs Team is seeking an accomplished leader to support the Advanced Programs Market Segment in Commercial Development activities and Classified and Unclassified US Government contracting activities.
The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in the Contracts Management function. The successful candidate will support various Direct Commercial capture and USG contracts and captures for the Advanced Programs Contracts Organization within the Rotary and Mission Systems Business Unit. The selected candidate will have demonstrated success as a leader. Candidates should possess ability to proactively lead tactical and strategic aspects of the contracting process from Request to Proposals (RFPs), Contract Negotiation and Administration, and Contract Closeout. They will work both Prime Contracts and IWTAs (inter-company agreements). The Senior Staff Contracts Manager will support proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract administration. The Senior Staff Contracts Manager will develop and apply solutions to problems requiring the use of a high degree of ingenuity and creativity. They will review customer requests for proposals and offer alternate approaches to mitigate risks involving schedule, cost, specifications, etc. The Senior Staff Contracts Manager will maintain communication with cross-functional organizations and customers to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to execute the required actions on time. The Senior Staff Contracts Manager will ensure contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. Since establishing internal and external customer relationships is imperative, this role may require occasional domestic and international travel to meet business needs.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience with USG and commercial Terms and Conditions in all aspects of the contract life cycle including proposals and administration.
• Experience with USG (FAR/DFARS) and commercial Intellectual Property terms and licenses.
• Ability to make effective presentations to senior management and customers.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions, providing governance to the program team in carrying out the terms of the contract.
• Ability/willingness to travel as needed.
• This individual will have demonstrated abilities to develop customer relationships, provide RFP shaping/analysis and have participated in proposal development and bid strategy.
• A desire to develop program and functional leadership skills.
Desired skills
• Proven formal and informal leadership experience.
• Commercial contract drafting experience and experience with various contract types and contracting vehicles.
• Certified NCMA Federal Contracts Manager or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; effective in a dynamic team environment and at building relationships with Customers.
• Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
