Job description

As a Logistics Account Coordinator (LTL and some Truck Load) at Mactrans, you’ll report directly to the Branch Manager, taking the lead in freight order entry, delivering Customer logistics solutions and delivery Partners relationships. Take your experience in 3PL freight logistics and carrier dispatching to the next level empowering you to uncover opportunities, deliver innovative transportation solutions, and drive measurable impact. Compensation includes KPI bonus based on volume of loads managed and performance measurement, allowing for additional earnings potential.

Additional KPI Bonus equivalent to 10% of base salary Hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home per week.

Company events including lunches, dinners, BBQ's, industry/ special events and holiday parties. Modern office with ample free parking, accessible by transit as well. What you’ll do: Procure carriers, negotiate rates, and measure delivery performance (OTP – on time performance).

Dispatch shipments to carriers and provide support to our dedicated load tracking Team when issues arise (track and trace). Timely respond to all load opportunities with pricing and availability. Work closely with Sales.

Develop strong customer & carrier relationships. Load order creation and data entry ensuring timely, accurate and complete information. Maintain professional communication with clients, shippers, and consignees.

Maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s and strive to exceed targets. Identify opportunities in Customers to increase efficiency and provide best logistics solutions. Develop strategies to reduce workflow time through use of system tools and process enhancements.

Comply with the company’s SOPs, Policies & guidelines as well as developing new efficiencies and continuous improvement ideas. Be proactive and a self starter as well as adaptable to changing market needs. Work well in an open, collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

What you bring: 1-3 years’ experience in a dispatching role with customer service experience/ exposure. Post Secondary degree or diploma is required. Bilingual French and Engish A MUST (written and spoken) 3PL experience in TL cross border logistics, as well as LTL is preferred.

Knowledge of different types of equipment - i.e. van, reefer, flatbed, intermodal, etc. Experience with TMS systems, LoadLink, DAT, Office 365 (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Geographic knowledge of Canada and US an asset. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to internal and external parties.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a face paced environment. Proactive and a self starter, dependable, accurate and thorough. High attention to detail, persuasive communicator, willingness to learn.
