Logistics and Operations Intern – Road Transportation
Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion (on-site)
Schedule: Evening shift, 4:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Duration: May to August 2026
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics and Operations Intern to join our team for the summer. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and optimizing our road transportation activities. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced logistics environment while contributing to the success of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and optimization of transportation routes;
- Assist in coordinating daily pickup and delivery operations;
- Track shipments and update statuses in internal systems;
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations;
- Prepare and process transportation documents (delivery notes, bills of lading, etc.);
- Help resolve operational issues such as delays and logistical constraints
- Contribute to KPI tracking and performance analysis
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and transportation regulations
- Provide general administrative and operational support
- Currently pursuing studies in logistics, transportation, operations management, or a related field;
- Strong interest in the transportation and supply chain industry;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Effective communication skills (French and English);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word);
