I am currently recruiting for an Operations Director to join a growing manufacturing company located in Sainte-Julie.

Mission

Reporting directly to senior management and as a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the company’s overall operational performance. You will work closely with the Sales, Laboratory, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Operations & Production Management :
Plan, organize and optimize production activities across multiple shifts.
Lead the procurement, production planning and manufacturing supervision functions.
Coach and mobilize supervisors, planners and production teams to achieve productivity, quality and delivery targets.
Establish and monitor key operational performance indicators such as OEE, scrap rates and on-time delivery.
Supply Chain, Planning & Logistics
Oversee the supply chain and negotiate with strategic suppliers.
Lead production planning activities to ensure customer deadlines are met.
Oversee logistics and warehouse operations, including inventory and transportation.
Ensure optimal configuration and use of ERP/MRP systems.
Continuous Improvement & Infrastructure :
Actively contribute to Lean, 5S and Kaizen initiatives.
Oversee infrastructure management and maintenance in collaboration with Engineering.
Promote strong alignment, collaboration and communication between teams and departments.

Your profile

University degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
8 to 12 years of experience in manufacturing operations management, including at least 5 years managing or leading multi-shift teams.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain and international logistics.
Strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach and the ability to make decisions quickly.
Comfortable working with ERP/MRP and WMS systems, as well as continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, 5S and Kaizen.
Experience managing maintenance or infrastructure is a strong asset.
Excellent French and English, both spoken and written. You will communicate daily with international customers and suppliers.
