This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home or any location of your choice. You will operate within an advanced online counselor dashboard, providing a seamless platform for conducting live video and text sessions with clients.

• Provide counseling to a diverse clientele, focusing primarily on stable, low-acuity clients who are seeking support for emotional and mental health concerns.
• Encourage clients to express their emotions and experiences openly, creating a safe space for dialogue.
• Utilize therapeutic conversations, observation techniques, and standardized assessment tools to identify issues and tailor treatment plans.
• Help clients establish clear goals and actionable plans to achieve personal growth, while providing ongoing support and insights throughout their journey.
• Adopt a solution-focused approach to counseling, working collaboratively with clients to promote resilience and foster self-efficacy.
• Leverage available resources and tools provided by Brightside to minimize administrative tasks and maximize client care.

You will work primarily with adult clients in need of mental health counseling who have been pre-screened to ensure they are stable and appropriate for remote therapy. The focus on low-acuity clients allows you to provide effective interventions that enhance their psychological well-being while maintaining manageable caseloads.

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Licensing: Candidates must be fully licensed to practice independently as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses or disciplinary actions are acceptable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic disposition are essential for success in this role.
• Proficient computer skills are necessary to navigate our counseling platform effectively.

While not mandatory, experience in teletherapy or utilizing digital counseling platforms can give candidates a competitive edge. Familiarity with solution-focused therapeutic models is also beneficial.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 based on hours worked and performance.
• Weekly direct deposit to facilitate timely payments for your services.
• Full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend to support their well-being.
