Position Details

The Digital Promotions Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving digital promotional strategies thatincrease conversions across EDE's revenue-generating platforms.This role translates business goals into campaign plans, prioritizes promotional efforts, and works across teams to deliver measurable results. This position is accountable for campaign performance and continuous improvement of conversion outcomes across channels.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning new technology, and finding solutions. They will also have a creative background, strong organizational skills, and experience with building and executing promotional campaigns through website design, email, social media, and other digital channels.

Essential Responsibilities

Digital Promotions:

  • Leads the development and execution of digital promotion strategies across EDE revenue-generating platforms to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and conversions.

  • Prioritizes promotional efforts and campaign calendars based on organizational goals, audience needs, and performance data.

  • Creates product description guidelines and best practices and ensures all product pages, landing pages, and other elements on AgriLife Learn are optimized.

  • Ensures AgriLife Learn is optimized for usability, engagement, and conversion through ongoing evaluation of design, navigation, and content effectiveness.

  • Conducts regular reviews of platforms, processes, and team outputs to identify improvement opportunities and enhance overall performance.

  • Owns the design and ongoing optimization of end-to-end user journeys to improve engagement and conversion.

  • Develops and oversees compelling promotional content across email, SMS, and other digital channels to align with campaign goals.

  • Identifies new opportunities and drives innovative campaigns across available promotion channels to increase customer acquisition and conversions.

  • Defines campaign setup, workflow, and performance optimization and processes to deliver innovative product and event promotions.

  • Identifies and tests new approaches to improve campaign performance, including experimentation with channels, messaging, and user experience.

  • Provides day-to-day direction, feedback, and prioritization for team members responsible for promotional campaigns and assets.

Performance and Data Analysis:

  • Applies marketing research and performance data to continuously refine promotional strategies to improve outcomes.

  • Measures and reports on campaign and platform performance, including conversion rates and engagement metrics.

  • Translates data into actionable insights and recommends specific improvements to campaigns, user experience, and promotional strategy.

Collaboration:

  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to align with organizational and unit goals.

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to develop targeted, engaging, and personalized promotional content.

  • Recommends data-informed improvements to personalization strategies, product and event listings and promotions, and user experience (UI/UX).

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Five years of related experience in planning and executing digital promotional campaigns and/or conversion optimization.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.

  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to use critical thinking and reasoning to solve problems.

  • Strong marketing and promotional skills.

Preferred Experience:

The well-qualified candidate will have:

  • Experience utilizing CRM software in digital promotions.

  • Experience executing promotional campaigns via web, email, and social media.

  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

  • Graphic/creative design experience.

  • HTML experience.

What You NeedToKnow

Proposed Minimum Salary: $60K/year or $5K/month.Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate's qualifications.

Flexible Work Arrangements: Full-time remote work is NOT available for this position. However, partially remote work may be available, pending employee eligibility requirements are met in accordance with AgriLife Alternate Work Location Procedures.
