Summary:
The Learning & Development Specialist executes learning and talent programs through the coordination, delivery, and ongoing support of training, development resources, and systems. This role partners with leaders and subject matter experts to assess learning needs, contribute practical recommendations, and deliver solutions that build employee capability. The position operates with independent judgment to plan, prioritize and execute assigned initiatives while aligning to the learning and talent strategy set by the Director, Talent.
Responsibilities:
  • Execute on learning components of the enterprise Talent programs by developing tools, communications and manager readiness materials.
  • Translate learning trends, workforce capabilities, and business priorities into insights that inform broader talent direction.
  • Maintain and update L&D and Talent learning resources to promote consistency and adoption.
  • Serve as an implementation partner for assigned initiatives, applying professional judgment to prioritize work, resolve execution issues, identify improvement opportunities and escalate complex matters, as appropriate.
  • Execute learning and development programs by facilitating, coordinating, and delivering instructor-led, blended and virtual training aligned with Talent priorities.
  • Partner with leaders and Subject Matter Experts to assess learning needs and provide practical implementation-focused recommendations for effective learning solutions.
  • Develop, update, and maintain high-quality training materials, job aids, and learning resources aligned with defined standards, timelines, and adult learning principles.
  • Coordinate training logistics and learner experience, including scheduling, communications, materials, vendors, systems, and technology support.
  • Administer learning activities within the LMS, including course setup, enrollment tracking, completion records, and training documentation.
  • Generate and analyze standard and ad hoc learning and talent reports to support compliance, evaluate program effectiveness, and inform leadership decision-making.

  • Experience administering learning activities within an LMS, including course setup, tracking, and training documentation.
  • Strong analytical capability to produce reports and summarize training outcomes and effectiveness for decision-making support.
  • Experience supporting learning program design and independently developing training materials and content within defined timelines.
  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint used for training content/materials and program coordination.
