We're looking for a Creative Manager, D&D Universes Beyond who loves tabletop games and helping teams do their best work. This role is ideal for an organized, production-savvy people manager who can create clarity in ambiguity, and keep product work focused, healthy, and on track.
This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in our Renton, WA office.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead and manage creative teams, supporting performance, career growth, workload health, and team culture.
  • Own task tracking for assigned products, balancing capacity, freelancers, budgets, timelines, playtesting needs, and shifting priorities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams within the studio to turn product goals into clear vision, deliverables, and decisions.
  • Keep teams aligned by running stand-ups, tracking risks, documenting decisions, supporting feedback loops, and clarifying next steps.
  • Build practical processes, onboarding, documentation, review structures, vendor pipelines, and scalable workflows for emerging product models.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability in creative production, tabletop publishing, games, entertainment, project leadership, or a related creative field.
  • 2+ years of experience managing creative professionals or project-based teams, including coaching, workload planning, career development, and team culture.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional creative projects with shifting priorities, external contributors, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong operational instincts, including improving processes, creating documentation, coordinating reviews, and building repeatable workflows.
  • Experience with freelancers, vendors, budgets, schedules, playtesting coordination, creative pipelines, and external partner relationships.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to turn ambiguous creative goals into scoped plans, trade-off recommendations, and clear next steps.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience with licensed products, entertainment franchises, external creative collaborators, or brand extensions.
  • Familiarity with tabletop roleplaying games, fantasy storytelling, Dungeons & Dragons, or D&D Beyond.
  • Fluency in tabletop game development workflows, including project planning, feedback tracking, approvals, editing collaboration, and digital implementation support.
