Corporate Video Producer

Laserfiche

Long Beach, CA • Hybrid

$75K - $95K/yr

Job description

We need a hybrid creator— someone who is just as comfortable lighting an interview as they are managing a post-production timeline. You will be collaborating with our marketing, PR, and product teams to determine the videos we need to make, and then you will be the one bringing it to life.

Whether you are capturing a customer testimonial, creating eye catching motion graphics, breaking down a new software feature, or packing up your gear for our annual Empower conference, you will drive the process from the first storyboard to the final export.

Location:

  • Hybrid: Three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in-office in Long Beach, CA.
  • Remote work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed to accommodate traveling for marketing events.

About the Role - Key Responsibilities:

Shooting and Directing

  • Operate the Gear: You will be our primary shooter, managing and operating our professional in-house cinema camera configurations, lighting setups, and audio gear to capture pristine picture and clean sound.
  • Direct Subjects: You know how to make a nervous executive or a busy customer feel totally natural in front of the lens.
  • Studio and Media Management: You will be responsible for our equipment room and procurement recommendations. Additionally, you will own the digital pipeline—ensuring meticulous media organization, including ingesting footage, organizing project files, and archiving final content.
  • Production: Production isn't just a desk job. You are comfortable carrying equipment, doing a bit of heavy lifting, and setting up cameras, lights, and grip gear on location.
  • Photography: You will set the tone for how the world sees us—whether you're coaching executives through premium headshots, gathering team photos that tell the story of why people love working here or capturing the moments at a tradeshow to show our excited customers.

Editing and Post-Production

  • The Cut: You will take raw interviews, b-roll, and screen recordings (desktop, mobile, laptop) and combine them to form engaging product videos, social clips, and culture pieces.
  • Brand Consistency: You will make sure everything we publish looks great and aligns perfectly with our brand guidelines.
  • Color Grading and Sound Design: You know your way around Adobe Premiere’s Lumetri color system and can color correct and grade footage to give it a polished, professional and consistent look, while layering in clean sound design and audio mixing.
  • Motion Graphics: You will work with the marketing team to create motion graphics to add excitement to the story.

Crafting the Product Story

  • Story Boards: You will pitch ideas and create boards to help map out the product story or emphasize the customer benefits of using Laserfiche.
  • Collaboration: Partner with designers, product managers, and the communications team to align on expectations and drive projects to completion.
  • Metric Driven Story: You know a video isn't done just because it's exported. You will keep an eye on our analytics and tweak elements like custom thumbnails, adjusting graphics and captions to maximize viewership and help increase view through rate.

About You - Essential Qualifications:

  • The Experience: 3–5+ years of video production and editing experience. If you have done this for a B2B, SaaS, or tech company, that is a huge plus.
  • The Portfolio: We’d like to see a reel that shows how you light a subject, capture good audio, and piece together a compelling narrative as well as any motion graphic examples.
  • The Software: You are comfortable working in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • The Organization: You can juggle a few different projects at once without dropping the ball or missing a deadline.
  • Team Player: Video is a team sport here, and you are always focused on doing what is best for the final project, even if it means pivoting from your original idea.

The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and years of experience amongst other factors.

  • Salary range from $75K-$95K

Perks & Benefits at a Glance

  • Generous time off:
    • 15 Days of Vacation
    • 3 Floating Holidays
    • 2 Paid Volunteer Days
    • 9 Paid Holidays
  • Hybrid Work Environment
  • Free Parking: covered and EV charging stations
  • Various 401(k) Investment Options and Generous Company Match
  • HMO and PPO Medical Care Options (Employees are fully covered under HMO)
