Job Title: MX Care+ Operations Manager (#17469-1)
Position Details
  • Role: Operations Manager 5 (Care+ System Integration amp; Data Management)

  • Pay Rate: Up to $47.00 / hr (Based on education/qualifications)

  • Location: 6625 Excellence Way, Plano, TX, USA (100% Fully Onsite)

  • Duration: 12 Months (Long-term contract with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to Full-Time Employee)

  • Interview Process: 2 Rounds of Virtual Interviews (with Barbara and/or secondary hiring panel)

  • Language: Bilingual English/Korean (Required)

Role Summary

The MX Care+ Operations Manager will oversee and optimize operational processes, system integrations, and product mapping for the Samsung Care+ team. This role serves as a crucial technical and business liaison between local IT/Dev teams, third-party retail partners, and Samsung Global HQ in Suwon, Korea. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail to manage SKU creation and complex pricing structures, while facilitating partner onboarding through API integration and usability testing.

  • Device Protection / Insurance: Prior experience in mobile care or device protection programs (e.g., Samsung Care+).

  • Technology / Consumer Electronics Industry: Strong background in operations or systems within tech or electronics companies.

  • Process Improvement amp; System Integration: Hands-on experience with API connection workflows and system alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Samsung Care+ Product Mapping: Take ownership of ensuring Samsung Care+ plans are accurately mapped to eligible devices; manage complex product data and verify accuracy for seamless customer purchases at the Point of Sale (POS).

  • SKU amp; Pricing Structure Management: Execute tactical system set-ups within the global network managed by the Suwon HQ team; manage SKU creation, implement intricate pricing models, and handle data relationships with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Partner Onboarding amp; System Integration: Lead and optimize system integration processes when onboarding new retail/channel partners (e.g., Amazon, etc.); facilitate and troubleshoot API connection workflows and approve process enhancements.

  • Global HQ amp; Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a critical interface between local development teams, third-party vendors, and Korea HQ; communicate heavily with the Suwon team to gather requirements, manage documentation, and facilitate system testing.

  • Global Support Flexibility: Support internal and external business partners based in Korea and India, requiring the flexibility to work outside of standard US business hours approximately 10% to 15% of the time.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in operations management, system integration, or complex data/product mapping.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred (equivalent professional experience can substitute if the candidate's background perfectly aligns).

  • Language Skills: Fluent in both English and Korean (Strongly Required) to facilitate direct technical and business communication with the Suwon HQ team.

  • Technical amp; Analytical Capabilities: Proven ability to manage complex data structures with a highly detail-oriented mindset; experience in troubleshooting and facilitating system testing during partner integrations is preferred.
