Job Responsibilities

The Information Technology Manager is responsible for the direction, supervision and management of Information Technology Department. The Information Technology Manager will manage computer hardware, software, and network systems and plans, organizes, and implement property level IT projects. Directs support functions to meet end user requirements

License Level: This is a key level position and requires a key license.

Essential Duties/Core Competencies

  • Leads, manages, plans, and directs the activities of all IT Technical and Support resource for the property.
  • Provides Tier I and Tier II level technical IT support for all corporate and property bases casino information systems and for vendor management for various casino business systems.
  • Assigns work and responsibilities, directing employees, scheduling and training to ensure that the work group operates at maximum efficiency.
  • Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.
  • Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.
  • Coordinates information technology business requirements with Senior Executives, Leaders, and Department Heads.
  • Assists and receives directions from senior property management to effectively utilize information technology to further property profitability or increase efficiencies.
  • Manages assigned projects by coordinating with vendors and company personnel.
  • Develops and manages operations and capital budget for the IT Department.
  • Specifies equipment and systems for projects: recommend hardware and software needed for systems.
  • Assigns personnel to projects, specific properties, and manages shift work schedule for all personnel assigned to IT Department.
  • Recommends certain training curriculum needed for staff members to complete tasks.
  • Communicates directly with senior corporate executive regarding status of computer business systems.
  • Meets the variable ad-hoc resource demands and is responsible for resolving the issues presented within the time period required by priority and severity of the request.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
