Role Summary:

The Manager, Information Technology (IT), will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining Clarapath’s technology infrastructure, systems, applications, and end-user computing environment, working closely with the DIrector of IT. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise across hardware, software, networking, cybersecurity, and IT systems, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, manage IT projects, and drive improvements to the company’s technology environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, and network devices to ensure reliable performance, providing technical support to employees, as needed
  • Install, update, and maintain company software and hardware as needed
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees, setting up accounts, and managing IT assets
  • Deploy, scale, and maintain IT network infrastructure, ensuring secure and stable connectivity
  • Identify, assess, and eliminate security risks while implementing network and hardware security measures
  • Manage and implement IT security measures, including user access, data protection, antivirus software, SOC programs, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Administer and maintain VPN, firewalls, and endpoint security solutions for secure remote and on-site connectivity
  • Review system functionality and efficiency, anticipating and reporting the cost of replacing or updating IT equipment
  • Maintain IT policies, procedures, and troubleshooting guides for internal use

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in IT support, systems administration, and network management
  • Extensive knowledge of network connectivity, technologies, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls), and security
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and datacenter setup
  • Experience implementing endpoint security solutions, antivirus software, and SOC programs
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for complex IT issues
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving IT needs and company growth
  • Drive, determination, and ability to meet aggressive milestones/deadlines
