What's the role...

We are looking for a motivated IT Technician to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality technical services across multiple client engagements and internal projects. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical issues, ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations.

In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and delivering timely solutions. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to maintain reliable systems and support organizational goals. This is an on-site position based in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve Level 1 technical support requests involving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Maintain and optimize network infrastructure and server performance to support reliable IT operations.
  • Manage hardware and software installations, upgrades, and system configurations in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Provide remote technical support and guide users through step-by-step troubleshooting procedures.
  • Monitor data backup processes and support system security operations, including user access management and firewall administration.
  • Support systems integration and implementation activities to ensure efficient deployment and functionality.
  • Configure and maintain network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and QoS solutions.

What you need...

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of VMware, Azure, O365, Linux, Windows Server, and other operating systems.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, verbally and in writing.
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships and collaborate effectively with team members and users.
  • Handle corporate information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
