Title: Project Manager


Job Summary

Infinity Contracting Services, Corp. is actively seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for construction project(s) located in the five boroughs of New York City.

Under the general direction of the Project Executive, the Project Manager provides effective leadership ensuring the construction schedules, safety, quality standards, customer satisfaction, trade partners' effectiveness, and maximum profitability are maintained throughout the projects progress. The Project Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the assigned project(s) and is responsible for understanding, planning, executing, controlling, monitoring, reviewing, and delivering the project with the support of the project team.


Responsibilities and Duties


  • Review contract documents, clarify the scope and resolve discrepancies

  • Prepare projects budget and schedule of values

  • Identify permits, licenses, and procedures required in place prior to commencement of work

  • Create project-specific quality and safety standards

  • Review and complete buyouts, identify contract scope omissions and amend subcontracts as necessary

  • Generate a comprehensive project schedule, with the assistance of project team and trades involved, incorporating clients milestones and required phasing. Provide monthly schedule updates and revisions

  • Establish a streamlined process for pre-construction, construction, and project close-out phase

  • Procure major equipment

  • Track progress to ensure completion of work within target deadlines

  • Conduct monthly production control and cashflow projections meetings

  • Identify and resolve issues impacting budget and/or schedule

  • Screen RFIs, submittals, and other project deliverables for contract compliance

  • Review change order submissions

  • Review monthly payment requisitions and subcontractor payments

  • Review documents submitted in Procore for completeness

  • Enforce fulfillment of responsibilities following ICSC internal procedures

  • Assign tasks to project team and subcontractors based on priority, importance, and schedule

  • Attend meetings with owner, client, subcontractors, and staff

  • Coordinate in house manpower and resources with other project managers

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally of ICSC

  • Lead and motivate project personnel to maximize their contribution and professional growth

  • Deliver ongoing feedback and address performance issues

  • Perform staff performance evaluations on a regular basis

  • Recognize training needs and ensure that staff gain needed skills

  • Suggest appropriate training opportunities and assignments

  • Engage staff in using best-practice tools and methodology

  • Direct construction activities of the subcontractors, laborers, and other staff as assigned


Qualifications and Skills


  • Five-year minimum construction project management experience required

  • One+ years of site superintendent or engineer experience preferred

  • A NYS professional engineer license (PE) is required

  • Prior experience with MTA project management is preferred

  • Bachelors Degree or higher is preferred

  • Possession of OSHA 30, at a minimum, is required

  • Strong oral and written communication.

  • Excellent time management and communication skills
