At Toole Design, we're leading the way in creating safer, more connected communities through sustainable multimodal transportation design. We're looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join our Atlanta team, someone who's energized to support and strengthen impactful roadway and active transportation projects from behind the scenes, bringing operational excellence that helps our mission and values come to life.

Why You'll Love Working Here

We're a purpose-driven team of technical experts and operations professionals who believe streets should work for everyone. At Toole Design, you'll join a collaborative environment where operations professionals work alongside industry leaders, with mentorship and development opportunities designed to help you grow your expertise.

We offer:

  • The opportunity to support projects that improve lives, advancing safe, inclusive design grounded in ethics, empathy, and equity

What You'll Do

You independently manage the full proposal lifecycle and coordinate proposal assignments with technical staff and teaming partners. You use your graphic design skills and creativity to produce appealing layouts in InDesign and ensure that proposals are compliant and meet Toole Design's standards. You perform copy editing and proofreading to ensure products are error-free. You develop interview presentations and marketing collateral.

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, English, journalism, or similar relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Four to five years of hands-on experience in proposal preparation/coordination, layout design, writing, and copy editing, and working with a team
  • Advanced proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Basic experience with Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • A collaborative approach to generating strategies and developing creative solutions
