Salary: Starting at 65,000 - $70,000 annually + incentive opportunity

About the Role

Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our sales team. This position is responsible for generating transient room revenue through the solicitation, development, and management of corporate and business travel accounts.

The ideal candidate is a relationship builder who enjoys prospecting, networking, and developing long-term partnerships that drive occupancy and revenue growth.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new corporate and business travel accounts.
  • Manage existing accounts to maximize room night production and revenue.
  • Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, client meetings, and networking events.
  • Negotiate corporate rate agreements and contracts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and travel buyers.
  • Monitor account production and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and community networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with revenue management and hotel operations teams to achieve business goals.
  • Maintain accurate account information and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Meet or exceed established revenue and production goals.
QualificationsRequired
  • Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience or related hospitality sales experience.
