As a Supervisor, you are an enthusiastic role model who motivates team members to deliver exceptional service for every guest, every time. You will build positive relationships with your team members and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

You have the knowledge, skills, and long-term vision to support the Assistant Manager and General Manager in the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced restaurant. Your collaborative approach and strong leadership skills help drive the overall success of the team and the restaurant.

In This Role You Will…

Operational Management:

  • Manage the shift by ensuring your team has all the tools they need to succeed.
  • Follow Tim Hortons standards and guidelines when preparing products for our guests as well as follow all operating guidelines for each piece of equipment
  • Maintain compliance with all Tim Hortons operating standards and escalate issues as needed.
  • Oversee shift cash procedures and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory and ordering and complete required shift documentation 
  • Can and will jump in to assist the team during busy periods or as needed, showing a readiness to roll up your sleeves and help out with service, food preparation, and other day-to-day operations.

Team Leadership:

  • Manage the shift by ensuring the team has all the tools they need to succeed.
  • Promote a respectful team environment and manage team members with open communication and understanding
  • Assign duties, delegate work and provide ongoing direction and training.
  • Effectively communicate with and support the Restaurant Owner, Restaurant Manager, and/or Assistant Manager.
  • Encourage an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goals.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure guests are the top priority, responding to their needs with urgency and professionalism.
  • Address guest service complaints promptly, turning negative situations into positive ones.
  • Act as a role model for exceptional guest service.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of previous experience in the food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 kg / 45 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or as required for this role.
