Job description

The Marketing + Community Manager will exceed the expectations of all Bunkhouse customers, internal and external, in a multitude of tasks that include, taking charge in all outward facing marketing efforts for Hotel Magdalena, Summer on Music Lane, and Equipment Room to ensure that all deliverables uphold Bunkhouse's brand standards.
A Marketing + Community Manager must develop and maintain the company's culture, values, and reputation in the public eye, and with all staff, guests, vendors, and partners. This individual must promote the Bunkhouse Mission in all actions and decisions and are accountable to the overall team.
Based upon fluctuating demands of the operation and to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to perform a multitude of different functions not specifically related to this position. This person may be expected to perform other tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Furthermore, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and revision.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead monthly marketing meetings with hotel, restaurant, and bar team to ensure their needs are met, on brand and within budget for all collateral, event, digital, PR, photography, room promotions and more.
• Develop and manage a content/social media calendar for three accounts (Hotel Magdalena, Summer on Music Lane + Equipment Room), receiving approvals from the corporate team.
• Photograph occasional marketing assets for F+B specials, retail, events and more.
• Assist in producing larger scale internal photo shoots (creating shot lists, coordinating with property team to ensure all props, glassware, etc. is in house, working on set to make sure photography looks on brand for the hotel/F+B outlets)
• Manage logistics for external photoshoot/video requests that are approved by the corporate team.
• Work with Bunkhouse art team on project managing collateral needs (operational, event, menu updates, etc.)
• Organize, manage, and develop marketing and programming calendar for the full year.
• Work with Field Marketing team to ensure digital assets are up to date.
• Manage website updates.
• Submit email blast features for Bunkhouse newsletters.
• Create and send monthly property emails marketing the hotel and its outlets.
• Work in tandem with the sales team to ensure they have the collateral needed.
• Assist in PR needs, including press stays, coordinating room drops, gathering press quotes and more.
• Get creative when it comes to event ideas, partnerships and programming efforts and support hotel operations during need periods.
