Position Summary 

We are seeking a highly creative and strategic designer to join the Food Lion Brand Creative team, responsible for creating compelling brand experiences through visual storytelling, seasonal campaign development, and innovative design. This role combines creative vision with hands-on execution, translating business objectives into impactful communications across digital, print, presentations, and marketing channels. The ideal candidate is not only a strong designer but also a strategic thinker who can synthesize information from multiple sources, identify opportunities, and develop creative solutions, connecting business objectives to creative outcomes and proactively moving projects forward. They are collaborative, approachable, and easy to work with, building strong relationships across teams while thriving in a fast-paced environment. This individual can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality creative work with speed, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Strong creative ideation, development, and execution across digital, print, presentations, and marketing channels. 
  • Lead internal design team in development and execution of quarterly and seasonal campaigns, partnering and collaboration with internal partners and external creative agencies.  
  • Create compelling concepts and visual stories that strengthen brand engagement. 
  • Maintain and evolve brand style guides, design systems, and creative standards. 
  • Design executive presentations and visual communications that simplify complex ideas and tell a clear story. 
  • Champion brand consistency while incorporating emerging design trends and best practices. 
  • Provide art direction and creative guidance to team members and project partners. 
  • Support the planning and coordination of select productions (photography, video, etc.) while providing on-set support in partnership with the Studio Manager. 
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of design experience in an agency, corporate, or in-house creative environment. 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, campaign development, and visual storytelling. 
  • Expertise typography, layout, color, composition, and modern design principles. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities and teams. 

Technical Skills 

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: 
  • InDesign 
  • Photoshop 
  • Illustrator 
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and presentation design skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with motion graphics, animation, and interactive content.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects and Cinema 4D.
