Project Manager (Repositioning) โ€“ Hahn Kook Center U.S.A. Inc.
Location: New York, NY (460 Park Avenue)
Language Requirement: Korean / English (Bilingual)
Position Overview
Hahn Kook Center U.S.A. Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support the repositioning of a commercial property located at 460 Park Avenue in New York City. This role will be responsible for overseeing project execution, reviewing design and construction documentation, and coordinating with internal leadership and external partners throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings and RFIs to evaluate construction costs, including requisitions and change orders, and provide reports to executive leadership
- Assess and monitor implementation of major building systems, including HVAC, switchgear, chiller systems, DOAS systems, and booster pumps
- Oversee technical aspects across multiple disciplines, including architecture, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, and building automation
- Manage and coordinate external stakeholders, including architects, general contractors, construction management firms, and project management firms
- Lead and oversee interior design and construction execution for the project
- Monitor overall construction progress and ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and quality standards
Qualifications
Education (Preferred):
- Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- Real Estate (secondary preference)
Experience (Minimum one of the following):
- At least 2 years of experience with a New York-based architecture firm, including design, construction, or renovation work
- At least 2 years of experience in construction or project management (CM) for building repositioning projects
- At least 2 years of experience managing buildings with a size of 300,000 square feet or greater
Requirements
- Fluency in both Korean and English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available)
