Volt is immediately hiring for Supply & Services Procurement Manager in Piscataway, NJ
As a Supply & Services Procurement Manager, you will:
  • Serve as a strategic procurement and commercial partner to Engineering, Manufacturing, and Plant Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders throughout the capital planning process to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead sourcing, negotiation, and execution of high-value capital equipment, industrial services, and infrastructure-related contracts.
  • Develop commercial agreements that maximize asset utilization, machine performance, operational uptime, and long-term value.
  • Negotiate and manage after-sales support agreements, maintenance contracts, performance guarantees, and service-level commitments.
  • Secure long-term spare parts availability, technical support provisions, and supplier accountability measures to minimize operational risk and optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Manage complex contractual negotiations involving risk allocation, indemnification clauses, liquidated damages, warranties, and supplier performance obligations.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to support successful project execution.
  • Present commercial recommendations, sourcing strategies, and project updates to senior leadership

This is a full-time contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Business Administration, Finance.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, capital sourcing, or heavy manufacturing project engineering.
  • Hands-on experience sourcing and negotiating capital equipment, industrial services, and complex supplier agreements.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior procurement or engineering leadership experience specifically within a highly automated manufacturing environment or complex industrial ecosystem.
  • Experience with procurement and contract lifecycle management tools such as SAP Ariba, Sigma, Ironclad, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Docs, and Drive.

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
