This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for: Strategic Procurement Manager - Indirect Procurement

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the trusted partner and primary point of contact for internal business partners, guiding them through the entire end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from initial need identification through vendor selection and contract execution, demonstrating a high sense of ownership.

  • Proactively engage and partner with cross-functional stakeholders, including Legal, Infosec, IT, and FP&A, to preemptively identify and address their technical, financial, and risk-related requirements throughout the procurement process with both internal requesters and external vendors.

  • Manage multiple BU and vendor engagements and high-volume procurement activities simultaneously across diverse indirect spend categories at any given time.

  • Collaborate with business partners and Procurement team members to develop, enhance and execute category strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.

  • Support sourcing initiatives, including RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.

  • Maintain vendor relationships, manage contract renewals, and monitor supplier performance where applicable.

  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.

  • Conduct market and supplier research to stay current on trends and benchmark pricing.

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and best practices. Educate business partners accordingly.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement organization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in the software category or technology domain.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Basic proficiency and demonstrable experience with fundamental contractual terms and commercial agreements is required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace; experience with one or more of procurement tools (e.g., NetSuite), financial planning/ERP systems (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle), project management/productivity (eg. Monday.com, FreshService, Sharepoint etc) is a strong plus.

  • Demonstrable experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance procurement efficiency and insights is a great plus.

  • Excel at relationship building.

  • Be able to act strategically while being a hands-on team member.

Preferred:

  • Experience in indirect procurement within a mid-to-large sized enterprise.

  • Familiarity with software licensing models / SaaS agreements.

  • Experience with one or more Indirect categories is a plus.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and project management skills.

If you are hired in Dallas, TX, the compensation range for this position is between $85,400 and $122,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
