Job description

CBC Education, Inc. has been providing services to individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities since 2002. We pride ourselves on making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. We create a supportive environment, where we can both learn and have fun at the same time. We provide ABA (Applied Behavior Services), DIR/Floortime and Social Skills Training to infants, school-aged children, teens, and adults. We serve individuals from all different backgrounds, and our team is equally diverse.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Our ABA Program is looking to fill a part-time position. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to work closely with the client and parents. ABA Therapy is provided at the clients home and the specialist works 1:1 with the client by following and intervention plan.

The successful candidate will go through a month-long paid training consisting of three parts (RBT 40-hour online modules, 5 day in-person training and observations). The candidate will work with the clinical staff to tailor ABA interventions to help clients meet their needs. The candidate will also provide parent training (training parent ABA interventions) and provide constructive feedback to clients/parents.

We service clients in various cities around the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles (Locations such as but not limited to: Torrance, South Gate, Huntington Park, Whittier, El Monte, Baldwin Park, South LA, East LA, San Gabriel, Mid City, Korea town, Pomona, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but NOT required.
  • 1-year experience working with children preferred but NOT required
  • Be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week (Monday - Friday between the hours of 2pm - 8pm and Saturdays between the hours of 8am - 6pm)
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin)
  • Valid Driver's license, car insurance, and personal vehicle for means of transportation.
  • Be willing to drive to clients homes within a 25 mile radios from our San Gabriel Office.

  • Must have excellent time management and adhere to deadlines.
