We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Server Assistant - Fine Dining to join our Pier Sixty-Six team!

Reporting to the Calusso Restaurant General Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and reset tables using a tray service.
  • Prepping for service
  • Taking used plates, utensils and drinkware to the dishwasher area
  • Attention to detail
  • Responsible for problem solving and special requests
  • Providing highest quality of service to the customers
  • Arranging dining room to cater to number of guests
  • Ability to work as a team in a fast paced five star rated environment
  • Set up dining room area according to Calusso restaurant standards
  • Consistently keep the restaurant organized and clean
  • Set up Trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, China, glass, etc., throughout the day
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • Set tables according to service standards
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company and FORBES standards
  • Run food and bus tables
  • Anticipate and address guests` service needs
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support your team to reach common goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Servers and Supervisors
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED recommended
  • Must be TIPS certified or become certified within 30 days of hire
  • Must have a current Food Handlers card
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and motivational individual
  • Must be able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English
  • Ability to implement and uphold service standards
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
  • Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to multitask
