Job description

Job Title: Systems Engineer

Job Location: Onsite- Bowling Green, OH, USA

About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled Systems Engineer / Deskside Support Engineer to provide onsite IT support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for end-user technology support, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, network, mobile device, and workplace technology issues. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, strong customer service capabilities, and experience supporting end-user computing environments, AV systems, and IT asset management.

In this role, you will

  • Deliver onsite and remote technical support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and workplace technologies.
  • Diagnose and resolve operating system, application, connectivity, and hardware-related issues.
  • Manage incidents and service requests through established ticketing systems while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate support teams and track progress through to resolution.
  • Deploy, configure, refresh, and recover end-user devices while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Support conference rooms, collaboration tools, and video conferencing technologies.
  • Assist with IT logistics, asset tracking, shipping and receiving, storage management, and workplace technology operations.
  • Follow documented SOPs, security standards, and support processes while meeting SLA targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain proactive communication with end users.
  • Participate in technology rollouts, office moves, hardware refresh projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

  • 2+ years of experience in Deskside Support, Service Desk, or End User Computing support.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and enterprise desktop environments.
  • Working knowledge of Mac OS support.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including Incident, Request, and Change Management.
  • Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and peripheral support.
  • Experience with asset management, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with printer troubleshooting and configuration.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise Audio-Visual (AV) and Video Conferencing solutions.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar ticketing/service management tools.
  • Exposure to smart lockers, IT vending solutions, and workplace technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of inventory logistics and supply chain support processes.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or ITSM best-practice knowledge.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or managed services environments.
