About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized and safety-focused professional to join our team as Associate Fleet Manager. In this role, you will oversee the administration, operations, and compliance of the Company's vehicle fleet in alignment with Land Transportation Safety (LTS) Standards and industry best practices, including IOGP 365. The position ensures efficient fleet operations, cost optimization, and safety compliance while serving as the primary liaison for drivers, vendors, business partners, and internal stakeholders. This role supports the delivery of client fleet programs through operational execution, data management, supplier communication, and administrative process support.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, monitor, and recommend adjustments to fleet policy in alignment with LTS Standards and industry best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with Company LTS requirements across all fleet-related activities and manage policy exceptions.

  • Recommend and deploy cost-saving measures and new services based on market analysis, supplier transitions, and industry best practices.

  • Enforce Company fleet policy, optimize vehicle operations, and support drivers and business partners with compliance and safety requirements.

  • Serve as a liaison between the client and internal teams to ensure coordinated service delivery, timely issue resolution, and seamless program execution.

  • Lead vehicle acquisition, maintenance, inspections, repairs, retrofitting, decommissioning, and remarketing activities using life cycle analysis.

  • Maintain vehicle inventories, schedule preventive maintenance, oversee vehicle readiness, and manage operational response plans.

  • Integrate telematics data, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with data privacy requirements.

  • Identify cost savings and operational improvement opportunities, support budget management activities, and review subcontractor invoices when necessary.

  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required and mutually agreed upon.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in fleet management, client account management, or transportation operations.

  • Minimum of 1 year of direct fleet management experience required.

  • Strong knowledge of LTS Standards and industry best practices (e.g., IOGP 365).

  • Proven ability to manage vendors, budgets, and compliance programs.

  • Ability to travel frequently to designated locations.

  • Candidate must be willing to comply with all applicable Element and client health, safety, environmental, and security guidelines; drug, alcohol, and search policies; land transportation and safety standards; and client location-specific rules, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: College/University degree preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.

  • Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, and fleet management systems is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated experience with cost optimization and budget management.

  • Strong regulatory compliance, safety standards, vendor relationship management, data analysis, and telematics integration experience.

Location

Current Location: This role is located Onsite at the Client's office location in Greely, CO.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,400 - $83,050 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
