POSITION SUMMARY
The Aviation Logistics Analyst reports to and receives work direction derivatives from the Project Manager. The Aviation Logistics Analyst will perform the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the development, update, and refinement of Aviation Logistics (AVLOG) operational concepts, operations, activities, and investments (OAI’s) and deliberate plans to enhance Aviation logistics capabilities at all levels and ensure operational readiness is maintained and preserved.
  • Provide comprehensive and effective AVLOG management capability, coordinated among components, to develop and execute options to prevent, mitigate, or respond to a crisis under all circumstances.
  • Develop briefs and other products to define Aviation logistics (AVLOG) requirements in support of OAI’s, OPLANs and contingencies.
  • Using Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2), Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) and Task Management System (TMS), monitor messaging and task management accounts for NIPR and SIPR networks to track messages and tasking for MARFORPAC ALD Plans.
  • Provide representation of ALD in coordinating efforts across various MARFORPAC divisions, subordinate commands by participating in MARFORPAC Campaign plan synch meetings (LOE’s and All Domain Initial Planning Team), planning meetings and Aviation logistics staff meetings.
  • Support synchronization and planning meetings by running audiovisual equipment display products the contractor has built and kept up to date.
  • Using Defense Readiness Reporting System-Strategic (DRRS-S) and Defense Readiness Reporting System-Marine Corps (DRRS-MC) accounts the contractor shall use accurate information to complete monthly assessments.
  • Review and update ALD crisis action team recall roster.
  • Support Operational Planning Teams, and other work groups.
  • Review and update Command Chronology input for ALD Plans as required.
  • Maintain policies, pass downs, and procedures for ALD Crisis Action Team and forward-deployed headquarters.
  • Lead the development and/or updates for remote expeditionary support packages to inform OPLAN TPFDD requirements.
  • Evaluate aviation logistics planning process using Logistics Planning Tool and the Deployed Logistics Solution web-based system.
  • Assist in developing CONOPS for afloat of ashore aviation logistics exercises aviation logistics exercises, and review and update OPLAN annexes, appendices, and Joint Logistics assessments.
  • Assist in the review of equipment density lists for multiple MARFORPAC Global Prepositioning network sites.
  • Assess exercise events through observation and develop recommendations for sustained future operations and conduct evaluation of designated activities during joint and combined training and exercise events, interoperability workshops, tabletop exercises, and senior leader seminars.
  • Arrange and facilitate After-Action Review (AAR) and lessons learned meetings to review event support and associated deliverables following the conclusion of each supported event.
  • Provide program and technical support on and off-site, including Planning conference events, development events, for MARFORPAC ALD staff related to ALD Plans Management systems and networks, and Joint systems.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
EDUCATION amp; EXPERIENCE
  • Military specialization in an aviation related MOS with minimum of ten years working experience in Naval aviation logistics.
  • Minimum three years demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at MAGTF or Joint/combined command level.
  • Experience on a 3 Star or 4 Star staff is desired.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Thorough understanding of Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS - or equivalent reporting system experience.)
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of USMARFOR operations in relation to OPLANs/CONPLANS and exercise scenarios in the Pacific.
  • Thorough conceptual and working knowledge of the Time Phased Forces Deployment Data (TPFDD) process is desirable.
  • Advanced proficiency with using Microsoft applications such as Excel, Teams, Words, Power Point, etc.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Expected to perform independently and exercise good judgment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus
  • Qualification as an authorized company driver is required
  • All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
  • 15-25% travel expected
SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.
ESTIMATED COMPENSATION
  • $140,000-$155,000
