About the role

As the Supply Chain Manager (NDAA) at Westmag, you will lead and manage the supply chain operations related to the procurement, sourcing, and compliance of components that meet the requirements of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted material flow, cost efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with U.S. government regulations.

What you'll own
  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes focusing on NDAA-compliant materials and components.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with domestic suppliers and vendors to support NDAA compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and legal teams to ensure supply chain strategies meet regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Monitor and mitigate supply risks, including supplier audits, capacity planning, and contingency planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain operations to improve efficiency, cost, and quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NDAA regulations and advise internal teams accordingly.
  • Oversee inventory management and demand forecasting to align supply with production schedules.
  • Lead negotiation and contracting efforts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

Requirements

Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of supply chain management experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of NDAA compliance requirements and experience managing supply chains involving regulated components.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and conduct supplier evaluations and audits.
  • Experience with inventory management, demand planning, and procurement systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and legal teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working in drone, robotics, or aerospace supply chains.
  • Familiarity with ERP and supply chain software tools.
  • Certification in supply chain management (CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
