Job description

SAIC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Drone Dominance Program by overseeing a multidisciplinary team responsible for Test & Evaluation (T&E) plans coordination, event logistics, and Government project management support. The PM serves as the primary point of contact between the contractor team and government stakeholders, ensuring all deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget. This role is onsite in Bedford, IN. 


Key responsibilities: 

  • Lead day-to-day oversight and management of the Drone Dominance program team
  • Develop and maintain Project Management Plans (PMPs), schedules, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Oversee coordination and execution of Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), test plans, and test reports
  • Track T&E schedules, milestones, and deliverables across multiple test events
  • Plan and manage all logistics for test events, demonstrations, exercises, and program reviews
  • Coordinate travel, transportation, equipment, and facility arrangements for all program activities
  • Provide direct support to Government Program Managers and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs)
  • Monitor program performance, identify risks, and provide regular status reports to Government leadership
  • Prepare briefings, white papers, reports, and program documentation as required
    Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, deliverables, and deadlines

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field plus fifteen (15) years of experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience supporting DoD programs
  • Experience managing Test & Evaluation programs and UAS/drone activities
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and policies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tools
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
