About the Role
The Director of Photography (DP) is responsible for translating creative vision into compelling visual storytelling across all productions. This role leads camera, lighting, and visual composition decisions to ensure content meets the highest standards of quality, innovation, and audience engagement. Working closely with creative, production, and post-production teams, the DP ensures that every piece of content is visually distinctive, technically excellent, and aligned with the brand's tone and ambition.
What You Will Be Doing
Establish a consistent, high-quality visual standard across all major productions
Deliver multiple large-scale productions with best-in-class cinematography and audience engagement
Improve production efficiency and visual consistency through standardized workflows and systems
Elevate overall brand perception through distinctive and recognizable visual storytelling
Develop and mentor internal camera and lighting talent to scale production quality Lead the visual direction of productions, including camera, lighting, and shot composition
Collaborate with creative directors and producers to translate concepts into visual execution
Design and implement lighting setups and camera strategies for diverse formats and environments
Oversee camera crews and on-set execution to ensure quality and efficiency
Establish and maintain visual standards, guidelines, and best practices
Select and manage camera equipment, lenses, and technical tools
Partner with post-production teams to ensure visual continuity and quality in final output
Troubleshoot technical and creative challenges during production
Mentor and develop camera operators and junior cinematographers
Continuously explore new techniques, technologies, and visual trends
What Makes You a Fit
6+ years of experience in cinematography, video production, or related field
Proven track record of leading visual execution for high-impact or large-scale productions
Deep expertise in camera systems, lighting, and composition techniques
Experience managing on-set teams and collaborating cross-functionally
Strong ability to translate creative concepts into visual outcomes Experience in high-volume digital or creator-driven content environments
Strong understanding of internet content formats and audience engagement
Experience with advanced camera technologies (e.g., RED, ARRI, drones)
Background in color grading, post-production workflows, or visual effects
