Job description

INODE is a leading information technology (IT) professional services Women Owned Small Business (WOSB) specializing in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, business intelligence, and data science services for federal, state and local organizations. We are seeking a seasoned Information Assurance professional to join our team as a Vulnerability Assessment Manager. The Vulnerability Assessment Manger will conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments using advanced tools such as ACAS and techniques to identify and evaluate security weaknesses in systems and networks. This is a salaried position, full-time, onsite at the Maxwell Air Force Base Gunter Annex.
Job Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active US DoD Secret or higher clearance
  • Active IAT Level II or higher certification
  • Available to work onsite Monday-Friday standard day hours
  • Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments to evaluate security weaknesses in DoD systems and networks
  • Measure effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities using available tools and processes
  • Analyze and prioritize findings then provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations for mitigating identified risks
  • Mange hardware and software within the systems
  • Develop reports to effectively communicate problems and proposed solutions
  • Operate and manage the ACAS System to perform regular scans of the organization's IT infrastructure
  • Submit tickets to appropriate teams for corrective actions
  • Actively Manage (inventory, track, and correct) all software on the network so that only authorized software is installed and can execute, and ensure unauthorized and unmanaged software is found and prevented from installation or execution
  • Analyze, prioritize, and mitigate vulnerabilities to lower or eliminate risk
  • Support creating and maintaining incident tracking information; planning, coordinating, and directing recovery activities; and incident tracking information; and incidents analysis tasks, including examining all available information and supporting evidence of artifacts related to an incident or event.
  • Ensure accurate and timely detection of vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance issues, and generate reports to support remediation efforts
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security regulations and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD and organizational security policies by regularly reviewing scan results, tracking remediation efforts, and preparing compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow policies and procedures for change and incident management

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration
  • 3+ years of working experience in information assurance or cybersecurity
  • Active CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or equivalent required
  • Completed or near completion of DISA ACAS Supervisor and Operator Course required
  • Completed DISA or near completion of Forescout Comply to Connect (C2C) Certified Administrator Training (FSCA) required
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels of technical understanding
  • Superb documentation skills
  • Self-motivated to continuously grow skillset and stay at the forefront of technology evolution
  • DoD experience necessary
