The impact youโ€™ll make

The Manager/Senior Manager, Digital Transformation, Finance Processes helps drive the execution and delivery of digital transformation within a multi-year process and technology modernization program. This role is responsible for leading Global Finance through the migration from legacy ERP to new application and supporting new planning application, integrations within all Record to Report (R2R) business processes.

The Manager/Senior Manager, Digital Transformation, R2R Processes acts as a business architect, ensuring that critical Finance processes are designed, tested, and deployed successfully in alignment with broader enterprise transformation goals.This position focuses on sales, business development and sales operations, ensuring seamless migration from legacy ERP & CRM systems to next-generation platforms and processes.

Candidates withFinance / Planning experience in a configure-to-order manufacturing environment would be ideally positioned to excel.

What youโ€™ll do
  • Drive R2R workstream deliverables across the Finance organizations and DT.
  • Drive design and deployment of R2R and Finance Planning systems and capabilities for the Finance organization while keeping impact in clear focus.
  • Own testing readiness (SIT, UAT, regression) and cutover planning for business continuity for specified workflows.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
  • Act as a business liaison between R2R and other workstreams (Plan-to-Fulfill, Idea-to-Retire, Quality, Order-to-cash, Customer Service & Support, etc.).
  • Identify and eliminate cross-functional risks and dependencies through the Program Management Office (PMO) and governance boards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Business Unit & Workstream leaders to ensure Finance inclusion in all relevant release / launch preparations.
Process Reengineering & Optimization:
  • Translate business requirements into future-state processes and technical design specifications in partnership with IT architects and ensure traceability of requirements through design, build, and testing phases using tools such as Jira and MS ADO.
  • Lead process mapping workshops using standard process methodologies to define โ€œas-isโ€ vs โ€œto-beโ€ states.
  • Identify and eliminate process pain points, inefficiencies, redundancies, waste and manual workarounds through automation and system enablement.
  • Partner with IT architects to ensure processes are documented and fully embedded in system design.
Change Management & Readiness:
  • Partner with Change Management leads to drive communications, training, and adoption for Finance and Planning.
  • Support Release 1 stabilization as required and plan for future release readiness.
  • Translate business risks (e.g., single points of failure, data retention rules, resource dependencies) into actionable mitigation steps.
Team & Stakeholder Leadership:
  • Lead Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical teams, and offshore resources to deliver on assigned scope.
  • Provide mentorship, coordination, and accountability across sub-teams (cutover, data migration, knowledge management, case management).
  • Influence stakeholders and drive alignment with senior leadership.
Who weโ€™re looking for
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree with 12 years related experience; or 8 years and a Masterโ€™s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 8โ€“10 years of experience in Finance operations, and Digital Transformation in a global, complex capital equipment manufacturing environment.
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with SAP S4, ECC, Workday Adaptive, CPQ, CLM, Jira, ADO, Signavio, and Visio.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, tax, treasury and financial planning and analysis
  • Strong understanding of process reโ€‘engineering, including finance, planning, sales operations, contracting, and pricing.
  • Skilled in program management: risk identification, governance, testing coordination, and cutover planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Executionโ€‘focused with the ability to translate business needs into system designs.
  • Ability to prioritize many competing objectives
  • Strong problem solver who raises risks early and provides solutions.
  • Influences and drives change by facilitating partnerships and alignment across the organizations.
  • AI-Machine Learning concepts and experience with ML technology.

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
