Job description

WEBTOON Entertainment is a leading global entertainment company and home to some of the world's largest storytelling platforms. As the global leader and pioneer of the mobile webcomic format, WEBTOON Entertainment has transformed comics and visual storytelling for fans and creators.

With its CANVAS UGC platform empowering anyone to become a creator, and a growing roster of superstar WEBTOON Originals creators and series, WEBTOON Entertainment’s passionate fandoms are the new face of pop culture. WEBTOON Entertainment adaptations are available on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Crunchyroll, and other screens around the world, and the company’s content partners include The Walt Disney Company, HYBE, and DC Comics, among many others.

As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will join WEBTOON's Global Brand Task Force, working cross-functionally with teams around the world to build the brand foundation for WEBTOON in the U.S. and, ultimately, globally. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Partnerships within the EN Brand & Audience Development team, you’ll play a high visibility role at the center of how WEBTOON shows up in the world.

It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building brands, thrives in highly collaborative environments, and is passionate about entertainment, fandom, and culture.

Essential Duties
  • As a member of the Global Brand Task Force, help build WEBTOON's brand foundation in the U.S. and globally, and develop short, mid, and long-term strategies to drive brand growth.
  • Shape WEBTOON's brand marketing vision, positioning, and core messaging.
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across the company worldwide to ensure the brand is executed consistently across all channels, and keep brand initiatives aligned with measurable user growth goals.
  • Own execution of always-on and major brand campaigns and 360-degree, multi-channel activations end to end—from planning through execution - including digital advertising, OOH, experiential, strategic partnerships, and influencer/celebrity partnerships.
  • Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and agency/vendor relationships, working in close partnership with the Creative team.
  • Partner with Creative teams to develop compelling campaign concepts, messaging, and creative assets that consistently reinforce the WEBTOON brand.
  • Develop measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign effectiveness and to optimize future initiatives based on the results.
  • Track and report campaign and brand performance on an ongoing basis—including the impact on platform metrics as well as brand health indicators such as awareness, consideration, preference, and perception.
  • Develop scalable marketing frameworks and campaign playbooks that improve execution efficiency and collaboration across the Task Force and broader team.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of brand marketing experience, ideally within entertainment or fandom-driven industries.
  • Proven experience developing brand strategies and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. entertainment landscape, media ecosystem, and consumer trends.
  • Experience working within a global organization, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence teams without direct authority.
  • Experience collaborating with internal creative teams and external agencies to develop impactful creative campaigns.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage consumer research, brand tracking, and campaign performance data to inform strategy.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives, budgets, timelines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience marketing to fandom-driven audiences with a strong understanding of community building and audience engagement.
  • Familiarity with WEBTOON, anime, manga, web novels, gaming, or adjacent fandom communities is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is strongly preferred.
