Position Overview


The Merchandising team is seeking a Product Designer (Seasonal) to support the creative development and execution of apparel, accessories, packaging, and promotional merchandise initiatives across the organization. This is a six month engagement with the potential for extension based on business needs. The Product Designer (Seasonal) will collaborate closely with internal creative teams, production partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to help bring product concepts to life from ideation through execution.


The opportunity offers hands-on exposure to both the creative and commercial sides of the music and entertainment industry, requiring a strong balance of design sensibility, organization, and execution. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about visual storytelling, collaborative creative development, and contributing to projects in a fast-paced environment.


This is a hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week.


Duration: This is a temporary, seasonal position designed to support our production team during an upcoming period of high-volume artist releases, tours, and project launches. While this role has a defined duration, you will be fully embedded in the HYBE America culture, working alongside our team to bring incredible artist merchandise to life.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in designing graphics for apparel, accessories, packaging, and promotional materials
  • Create mockups, tech-packs, and presentation decks for internal reviews and vendor submissions
  • Organize and maintain design asset files and production references
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the creative direction of product collections
  • Support the team with various design-related tasks and administrative duties as needed


Qualifications


  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design (2D & 3D), Visual Arts, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Strong visual and typographic skills
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant design work

Salary Range


The salary range for this job is $80,000 to $90,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include benefits and any other compensatory components of the role.
