Job Summary
As the Senior Analyst, Government Pricing, you will support the Apotex Government Pricing team in data preparation, validation, calculation, and analytics related to Apotex participation in the following government programs:
  • Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
  • Medicare Part B Program
  • VA Federal Supply Schedule Program
  • PHS 340B Drug Discount Program

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate and timely analysis of the following: Average Manufacture Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Medicaid Unit Rebate Amount (URA), PHS (340b), Average Sales Price (ASP), non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP), and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP).
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting of all Government Pricing calculations.
  • Validate and reconcile GP calculation underlying data to general ledger.
  • Review and and maintain key master data utilized within all Government Pricing calculations.
  • Submit pricing calculations in appropriate format to respective government and state-related agencies.
  • Develop and maintain compliance for all government pricing calculation methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain relevant SOPs, work instructions, and price calculation evidence of work.
  • Work closely with management and IT to resolve system and process issues.
  • Participate and attend industry-related seminars and training to ensure compliance knowledge is current and up to date.
  • Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.
  • Operates in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements.

Job Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a minimum of five (5) years of government pricing experience in pharmaceutical environment.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong personal computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite of products; moderate to advanced Excel skills required.
  • Must have experience with SAP, or equivalent ERP system.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess strong business ethics for handling confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to make independent judgment decisions.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfort working with individuals at all levels of the organization.
