About the job:

This role is responsible for shaping and executing the brand strategy for the Czech and Slovak markets for the assigned brands, ensuring consistent brand growth, strong market positioning, and impactful consumer engagement. The Brand Manager will drive the development of brand initiatives aligned with business objectives, while contributing to sustainable growth, competitive performance, and the overall success of Opella within the local market.

Main responsibilities :

  • Strategic leadership for the brand and managing resource allocation across brand strategies and tactics

  • Identifying the most profitable and relevant brand growth opportunities and allocate proper budget across brands and initiatives

  • Signing-off brand ATL and BTL investments together with respective functions at local level

  • Leading, evaluating and ensuring implementation of brands strategic Growth plans in order to ensure focus on the achievement of above market growth & sales / profitability objectives

  • Driving brand analytics, market and competition understanding, brand learnings and action plans as well as the integrated planning process for the brand

  • Execution of the key initiatives driving the brand growth

  • Leading the identification of high ROI initiatives to drive best performing brand activations

  • Challenging and endorsing the KPI proposed by the Performance Analytics Team to track the brand performance status and ROI of the Growth Plan

  • Analyzing Performance Analytics team recommendations to fine tune / change the plans in order to maximize the profitability and accelerate the market share gain for the brand

About you

Education : University degree in business or scientific background

Experience :

  • Proven work experience as a Brand Manager in creating and developing brand strategy

  • Current or previous experience in Consumer Healthcare or FMCG companies with proven track record in marketing positions

  • Executional excellence and leadership

  • Scientific background with marketing/business studies a plus.

Skills :

  • Strategic, integrative and analytical thinking

  • Autonomy and ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs

  • Creativity and problem-solving

  • Team spirit, persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with all cross functional partners

  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing business environment

  • Digitally Savvy

  • Languages : Fluency in Czech and English
