Salary Range: $120,000 – $175,000 annually

**Required: Customs Broker License**

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trade & Customs Compliance Coordinator to support our growing solar manufacturing and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. import/export regulations, customs procedures, tariff classifications, and international trade requirements while supporting the efficient movement of materials, equipment, and solar-related components throughout our supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, logistics, international trade, or customs compliance, preferably within the solar, renewable energy, electronics, or industrial manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support daily import/export compliance activities.
• Review customs documentation for accuracy and ensure timely customs clearance.
• Assign and maintain HTS classifications, duty rates, and import/export records.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
• Support post-entry corrections and tariff optimization initiatives.
• Maintain and update compliance databases and tracking logs.
• Partner with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and Finance teams.
• Develop KPI reporting related to customs compliance and logistics activity.
• Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and government inquiries.
• Serve as an internal resource for trade compliance guidance.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in customs compliance, import/export coordination, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of U.S. import/export regulations and customs documentation.
• Experience working with ERP systems or customs platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the solar, renewable energy, electronics, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries strongly preferred.
• Experience importing solar panels, electrical components, batteries, inverters, or manufacturing equipment is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Licensed Customs Broker required.
