Job description

We are currently seeking a highly dedicated and knowledgeable Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) to join our dynamic team. The LCB will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the brokerage team, with a focus on ensuring timely and compliant Customs entry processing.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

â—Ź Maintain a working knowledge of all rules, regulations, and procedures of U.S. Customs, FDA, USDA and other relevant government agencies.

â—Ź Determine proper classification and valuation for a wide variety of commodities.

â—Ź Prepare and submit various types of entries, including PGA transmissions, ISF's, In-bonds.

â—Ź Handle issues relating to customs clearance such as, but not limited to, Customs exams, FDA holds, ISF holds, AMS mismatches, etc.

â—Ź Managing staff performance and providing mentorship

â—Ź Optimizing workflows and enhancing customer experience

â—Ź Strong leadership, technical Customs knowledge, and problem-solving skills

â—Ź Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support business objectives

Furthermore, this role involves developing and implementing risk management strategies and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to enhance supply chain performance.

Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and communications related to customs compliance is also a crucial aspect.
