Bartender
The Bartender will prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests and oversee the stock of liquor and bar supplies. As a Bartender, you will serve as the face of our brand in the taproom, engaging with guests to educate them about our products while delivering an outstanding hospitality experience. This role combines product knowledge with exceptional customer service to create memorable interactions that reflect the values and quality of our brand.
Reports to: General Manager or Front of House Manager on duty
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Greet guests timely as they are seated at the bar; ensure bar is clean and that coasters, utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
  • Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered from guests and waitstaff
  • Accurately and efficiently enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation and delivery
  • Completion of all required bar prep, including but not limited to cutting fruit/garnish, making syrups, batching cocktails, etc.
  • Maintains a clean, organized bar and ensures it is stocked with clean glassware
  • Follows all Alcohol Service laws and is mindful of safe alcohol service, including checking photo IDs
  • Processes guest payments by preparing checks and handling transactions through the POS system
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, teammates, and management
  • Change, move, and organize kegs as needed
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and setting up the bar
  • Assist with other side work duties such as cleaning the dining area, preparing silverware and refilling condiments
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a passion for hospitality and craft beverages
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortability with discussing our products in detail with guests
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Experience with craft cocktails is desired
  • Ability to operate the point-of-sale system (POS)
  • At least one year of related experience required
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 60 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping and reaching
