Join Our Weekend Team

Vermont Hard Cider Company is hiring a Production & Sanitation Technician to help keep our beverage manufacturing operation clean, safe, and running efficiently. This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, sanitation, warehouse operations, machine operation, food production, beverage production, material handling, or forklift operation. We are also willing to train dependable individuals who are eager to learn and build a career in manufacturing. Enjoy full-time hours while working just three days per week.


Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt 

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 8:00 AM-8:30 PM 

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience, scope of work, schedule, and directly related skills 


What You'll Do
  • Clean and sanitize beverage production equipment and production areas
  • Perform Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures as assigned and trained
  • Support production line operations and material handling activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Complete sanitation records, production logs, and required documentation accurately
  • Follow GMPs, food safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and safety standards
  • Assist with other production-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn
  • Able to follow written procedures and work instructions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and documentation skills
  • Basic computer skills or ability to learn required systems

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods and may involve lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and using cleaning equipment. Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment, cleaning chemicals, noise, required PPE, and safety footwear requirements.
