Job description

The RN Pain Blocks role involves providing direct bedside care with a focus on pain management through various pain block techniques. This position requires collaboration with medical teams to prepare and perform mixed pain block procedures safely and effectively during standard day shifts. Monday through Friday 7-330 with 3 730-4 shifts per month

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition and pain levels
  • Prepare patients and equipment for pain block procedures
  • Maintain sterile technique during procedures
  • Perform mixed pain block techniques safely
  • Document procedures and patient responses accurately
  • Provide patient education on pain management and post-procedure care
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members
  • Monitor patients throughout and after procedures
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entry-level nursing experience
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
