What You’ll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Lead Resident Wellness:

  • Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate all clinical and wellness services provided in the community.

  • Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and medication management to promote optimal health outcomes.

  • Champion a proactive approach to resident care that supports independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Inspire & Develop a Strong Team:

  • Hire, train, and mentor wellness staff including nurses and caregivers.

  • Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.

  • Lead with empathy, encouraging continued learning and professional development.

Ensure Clinical Compliance:

  • Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys and uphold compliance with state and federal requirements.

  • Monitor clinical documentation, incident reports, and follow up on care-related issues.

  • Partner with pharmacy consultants, physicians, and external agencies to support resident needs.

Collaborate for Holistic Care:

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and department leaders to align clinical services with community goals.

  • Participate in care conferences, family meetings, and community activities.

  • Help create an environment where wellness is woven into every aspect of daily life.

Support Residents & Families:

  • Be a resource, advocate, and point of contact for residents and their loved ones.

  • Promote programs and initiatives that address the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Clinical Expertise)

Education & Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current RN license in the state of employment.

  • CPR certification and knowledge of best practices in infection control and senior wellness.

Experience & Leadership:

  • At least 2 years of nursing leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care preferred.

  • Skilled in team management, training, and performance improvement.
