SPS New England, Inc., one of the leading heavy highway contractors in New England, is seeking a highly motivated individual to perform duties on Bridge and Highway construction projects.
Since 1984, SPS has been helping to rebuild New England's infrastructure. Wherever you drive throughout Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, there's a good chance you will travel down a road or over a bridge built by SPS New England.
Position Description
This role is responsible for the management and seamless integration of construction-related software used across our project teams. This position requires an understanding of construction operations, project execution, and technology to ensure our teams have the right tools to perform at their best. SPS is looking for someone to help us utilize and optimize related software's such as Procore, Vista Viewpoint, Tenna, Trimble GPS, Primavera P6, HCSS, Bluebeam, etc. so that we are working as efficiently as possible. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and IT departments to enhance project workflows, improve operational efficiency, and ensure technology adoption across all teams.
This position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, hands-on professional looking to lay the groundwork for long-term growth and leadership within a thriving, employee-owned construction company.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and IT to align software with project needs.
  • Provide functional and technical support to the Construction Operations area, in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business processes and applications.
  • Manage and optimize construction software usage (Procore, Vista Viewpoint, Trimble GPS, Primavera P6, etc.)
  • Ensure seamless integration of project management, scheduling, cost tracking, and document control systems.
  • Help facilitate communication and project alignment across superintendents, project managers, safety teams, and office staff.
  • Provide troubleshooting support on processes inefficiencies, systems issues, and document system functionality
  • Provide on-site support and training to field teams as needed.
  • Participate in vendor evaluations and implementation planning.
  • Develop and support ongoing user training to ensure all functional users understand the application capabilities and leverage system capabilities to deliver the optimal user experience

Pay: $85,000- 115,000 Dependent on experience

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting construction applications whether that be projects, field operations, construction technology, or information technology
  • Understanding of construction workflows, scheduling, cost control, and document management.
  • Proficiency in several of our software's: Procore, Vista Viewpoint, Tenna, Trimble GPS, Primavera P6, HCSS, Bluebeam, and/or other relevant software.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work closely with both field and office teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues and implement solutions effectively.
  • Experience training teams and developing software best practices preferred
  • Ability to work On-site with minimal supervision
