About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Director to lead business development and revenue growth throughout Iowa. This role is responsible for selling an industry-leading project information management software that helps commercial contractors, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors improve collaboration, document control, project visibility, and jobsite productivity.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Iowa market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with general contractors, construction managers, owners, architects, engineers, and specialty contractors.
  • Present software demonstrations that showcase solutions for document management, RFIs, submittals, drawing control, project communications, and field collaboration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with executive decision-makers and project teams.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and implementation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Represent the company at construction industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities throughout Iowa.
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated successful B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, construction technology, project management software, or enterprise software.
  • Experience selling to the commercial construction industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction workflows and project delivery methods.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout Iowa to meet customers and attend industry events.
