Position Summary

This position manages the coordination, planning, and implementation of new and remodel construction projects. Coordinates and implements new store construction through development of project budgets and schedules, management of construction documentation, coordination to obtain permits, bidding and reviewing contracts, and construction administration. Implements remodel construction for various scopes identified for the retail environment, including budget and schedule management, coordination of construction personnel, reporting and project close out.

The candidate must be in one of these state locations to be considered for this position:

  • New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with internal real estate team, operators, external developers, and contractors to review, scope, budget and document construction projects; represent proposal at REC meetings.
  • Manage construction projects including the design, budget, permits, contracts, reports, construction and delivery of the completed project per CVS/Health designs and standards, on schedule and within budget; financial responsibility for approximately $50 million in expense and capital budgets annually.
  • Partner with a team of internal and external resources to provide services in support of construction projects.
  • Visit construction sites to verify that all work is completed in accordance with CVS/Health plans, specifications, and standards; review schedule, budget, and resolve project issues.
  • Represent CVS/Health with state and city agencies and boards as it relates to planning and construction.
  • Manage "punch list" to ensure all work is completed for construction projects and complete closeout requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in all aspects of the design and construction process, including standards and costs.
  • Ability to travel to support enterprise work primarily in the northeast portion of the US, but should be open to travel throughout U.S. depending on projects

  • Knowledge of all aspects of the design and construction process including standards and costs.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to oversee large cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage large budgets.
  • Ability to take initiative; self-starter.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Project, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proficiency with proprietary Project Management software.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a changing retail environment.
Education

Bachelor's degree (construction management or architect and engineering) or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of construction management experience) required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
